 At the elbow

Axial T1-weighted image at the elbow demonstrates the median nerve (MN) between the superficial head of the pronator teres (SPT) and the brachialis muscle (BM) just lateral to the brachial artery and vein (BA). The close proximity of the lacertus fibrosus (LF) to the median nerve at this level is demonstrated. The biceps tendon (BT), palmaris longus (PL), flexor digitorum superficialis (FDS), flexor carpi ulnaris (FCU), flexor digitorum profundus (FDP) muscles are also indicated.
