1-Bursa are sac of synovial tissue.

2-Prevent friction between bones and soft tissue.

3-15-20 bursa around hip joint.

4-Ileo-psoas is the greatest one allover the body present medial to ileo-psoas (connected to joint by 10-15%).

5-The second important one is bursa near greater trochanter.
